When I suffered a broken leg back in the day and had nothing to do but watch tv high on hydroc, I saw this drug commercial and one of the fine print statements caught my eye.
Thats right. "The way Veramyst works is not entirely understood." Where do I begin. Hmm, since I am very critical of the Gov't, lets start with the fine people at the FDA. I know they have a tough job and it is not entirely easy. But, why on this brown over-warmed Earth would you allow a company to market a product that they do not understand!?! WTF is wrong with that. When they filled out the patent for the drug, under explanation, did they just put '?' I hope that the people high up in the decision making ladder are getting paid with large 'donations' or given pretty sweet complementary vacations at the drug companies expense. They should get something for selling their souls.
Now the drug company. I know you get a lot of money from the Feds to develop these drugs then re-sell them to the American people at an exuberant amount. I am not bitching about that (that post is for when I get so mad I am one child aspirin away from a heart attack). How about this, Big Rx, take the money that the government took from us and hire people WHO KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!! Then, you can rape us with your high drug prices.
To the marketing company (or whoever made that commercial), you think that the statement would have caught someone's eye during the review process? Were you about to lay-off someone who was in charge of it and that person thought 'fuck it, I'm out anyways?' Way to drop the ball on that one numb-nuts. Can't wait to see what the next great marketing campaign you guys will turn out.
