Look, when will people listen. Getting the idiotic idea of everyone turning their lights off for one hour really does not do anything in the long run. Sure, for one hour, we do not use the resources, but once that hour is over, back to business baby, polluting like its our job.
A massive one time cooperation is nothing more than a PR stunt. Look, if everyone just does a little bit extra, thats all we need to do. But, of course, that philosophy won't make great headlines so it wont be really pushed. Instead, we are forced to do one time stunts to raise awareness to only be quickly forgotten and discarded. Dumbasses.
Now, because of this 'Earth Hour,' I am forced to do my own little stunt to counter act it. I am driving my escalade for an extra hour this week. Take that!
Not even Greenpeace participated or even endorsed this hooey. Ha. Not even the champions of the environment fucktards endorsed this asinine idea. Not one mention on their website (there was one page that was in spanish, but not in English). On the http://www9.earthhourus.org/ website, greenpeace is not even mentioned.
My personal theory is that the Greenpeace fuckwits don't like compeition in the environmental movement.
